The Needs
Of
The Marian Peace Center

The Marian Peace Center in Joy Valley is a non-profit 501-C3 corporation in need of your help!

This is your home away from home,
a place for all to come and receive the many gifts of
Grace that God the Father has waiting for you. Many have come and have helped
us in so many ways and have also received His great Mercy, Joy, Peace, Hope,
and Love. many have also received His great Healing as they walked the
grounds and prayed. Scripture says, "Seek and you shall find"---"Knock and
the door shall be open unto you"---"Ask and you shall receive:. God your
Heavenly Father and Creator, is calling you to come back to Him! Please take
the time in your busy schedule to hear and know His voice. If you will put
Him first in your life here on earth, God will take care of your every need.
Give freely to others, the gifts and talents He has given to you so
generously. They are only loaned to you...you will be held accountable for
them, as to how generously you shared them with others.

We are but one of many who have a need for those talents and gifts. Won't you
please help build God's Kingdom on earth?

1--Plumbers & Builders: Now that Our Lady of the Holy Spirit
Education-Evangelization Center is nearly completed, we are in need of
putting in the bathrooms. We also need plumbing and building supplies. If
you can help us in any way, God will bless you and your family abundantly.
Your assistance with this project would be greatly appreciated. Just call Bob
in the evening at (231) 347-6279.

2--Painters: For inside and outside staining and painting.

3--Airline Tickets: If you have any bonus airline miles you would like to
give away, we could use these miles to help bring Priests and speakers for
the upcoming November Conference. Just call the Center. They are also needed
to help take Priests and Nuns on pilgrimages.

4--Woods: An area needs to be cleared for the Shrine of our Lady of Guadalupe
and the Tomb of the unborn to be built. Plus we need to clear areas for
picnic tables and benches to be put in the woods.

5--Donations: Of time, talent and treasure are always needed and greatly
appreciated here at the Marian Peace Center. We have been royally blessed,
because you have been royally blessed. May God continue to bless us all as we
strive only to do His Will on earth!

We have come to know and believe...if you but plant a seed in faith, the Mother of God will nurture it and her Son Jesus will help it to grow! Soooo, a new seed is being planted today, pray for its growth. For over 5 years we have had a vision of a “retreat center” someday to be built upon this property. This center would have different wings that would exted from the main body, representing different ministries.

One wing would represent rooms for unwed mothers. A place to live as an alternative to having an abortion, when they are not allowed to remain at home.

Another wing would be for people to spend a night or two. A place to stay for events being held here on the grounds.

Another wing would be for people to come and die in dignity. A place to come and live out your remaining days on earth, where all you needed was love, care and prayers to help you walk that last mile or two, into the arms of your Heavenly Father.

You know, this is yours and my responsibility in this life. If we are blessed, we too will grow old someday by the grace of God. Scripture tells us we are to take care of each other.

I read a book recently called “Midwife for Souls”. The goal is a comfortable body, a peaceful passage, and a triumphant soul. The family’s active involvement and loving presence greatly assist in the achievement of these goals.

Confusion, dissension and any form of negativity interfere with birthing and dying, and tend to generate complications. Above all else, fear is the greatest enemy. Both birth and death take great effort, and the labor is easier to endure with eyes focused on the reward.

A long time ago, I worked for over 14 years in the hospital, holding many different jobs. I also was involved with Hospice for several years, which I dearly loved.

As the time of death approaches the patient ascends to a higher spiritual plane. The best way to understand this is to see the dying process as a journey. The final stage is crossing a bridge. As patients move closer to the other side, they can see where they’re going while still maintaining an awareness of the people around them.

How beautiful it can be for someone to die, and we all will some day. Are you spiritually ready to cross over the bridge to meet God?

Let us continue to pray for each other as we continue the journey day after day, always trying to do the will of God. PERSEVERE!!
